The average contribution is C$10 thousand to C$25 thousand per project, with a maximum contribution of C$100 thousand. ENI CBC Med — Call for Capitalization Projects
The Mediterranean Sea Basin Program is a cross-border cooperation initiative implemented by the EU and neighboring coastal territories. The ENI CBC Med finances cooperation projects with focus on biodiversity conservation, climate change, and pollution for a more sustainable Mediterranean area. ENI CBC Med accepts applications for capitalization projects in the following priority areas: Water Management, Waste Treatment and Recycling, Renewable Energy, Integrated Coastal Zone Management. WIOMSA seeks innovative projects (demonstration and pilot projects) that address modern-day marine sustainability challenges to bridge the gap between marine research and innovation. The goal of the Innovation for Sustainability Grant program is to support the development and testing of concepts and new approaches that address and enhance the understanding of marine and coastal environmental issues. Mekong Institute – Mekong Cooperation Fund
The Mekong-ROK Cooperation Fund seeks applications for the implementation of cooperation activities in Mekong countries (Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Laos). The Fund provides grants of up to US$300 thousand for regional projects. Eligible project areas include agriculture and rural development, and environment, among others. Applications are invited from government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and academic institutions. Development banks and individuals are not eligible. International Fund for Agricultural Development — Renewable Energy Technologies in Agriculture
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) seeks an implementing partner to scale-up renewable energy technologies in existing IFAD agriculture projects in the Latin America and Caribbean for the benefit of smallholder farmers and producers. IFAD will make a three-year grant of US$2 million to be used for implementing and scaling-up energy technologies. UNESCO — World Heritage Volunteers 2020
The UNESCO World Heritage Centre invites applications for the World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) Campaign 2020. The aim of the call is to encourage young people to undertake concrete actions and to play an active role in the protection, preservation and promotion of World Heritage sites. Projects should be organised in immediate connection to a property inscribed on the World Heritage List or a site inscribed on a Tentative List. Both public or private organisations or institutions from any country are eligible to apply. European Commission — Ocean-Monitoring
The European Commission invites applications for the Ocean-Monitoring call to support the development of ocean energy. The objectives of this call are to increase the amount of environmental data and improve knowledge, to contribute to reducing uncertainty in modelling potential impacts of future ocean energy devices, to provide guidance to ocean energy developers, and to inform stakeholders and help feed the public debate about ocean energy. The Commission sets a total budget of €2.3 million for this call.
