The company Famae seeks an idea, product or service from all over the world to preserve water and make it more accessible to everyone. Solutions should be pragmatic, efficient, durable, and money-saving to make life easier for urban citizens while reducing their environmental footprint. Individuals, teams, businesses, government entities, universities and organizations are eligible to apply. African Development Bank — Investments in Agricultural Infrastructure in Africa
Through the Agriculture Fast Track (AFT) Fund, the African Development Bank provides initial funding for agriculture infrastructure projects spanning the entire value chain – from production to market. Co-funding is encouraged, but not necessary, provided that the requested amount does not exceed US$1 million. PEER invites scientists in developing countries to work with U.S. collaborators in research and capacity building on priority topics that include environmental contaminants, agricultural productivity and food security, biodiversity conservation, water security, low-carbon development, fisheries assessments, and others. The priorities are different for each PEER focus area (i.e., varying by regions and countries). Applicants must be based at academic institutions, non-profit organizations, or government-managed research laboratories, centers, or institutes in the eligible countries. European Commission — Sustainable Agriculture Practices in Palestine
The objective of this call is to promote social and economic development in Palestine to a more sustainable economic development towards a green economy. This call will support projects that focus on agriculture growth and profitability by provision of adequate sustainable means for better access to and utilisation of land and water. Grants requested for this purpose must fall between the amounts of € 1,9 million and € 3,8 million. Interreg Baltic Sea Region — Project Platform Calls
Interreg Baltic Sea Region financially supports frameworks for cooperation of core partners of projects funded by Interreg Baltic Sea Region. Project platforms must be in line with the thematic priorities of the Programme: (1) Innovation, (2) Natural Resources, (3) Transport. The Programme area covers eight EU Member States (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, parts of Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden) and three partner countries (Belarus, Norway and parts of Russia). European Commission — Solutions to Improve Health in Cities
The EC calls for visionary and integrated solutions (e.g. therapy gardens, urban living rooms, creative streets, city farms) to increase citizens’ health and well-being in cities. These solutions should address reducing the exposure to climate-related risks, pollution (including noise), and environmental stress, among other factors. The Commission accepts requests in the range of €10 million.
