Global Forest Watch (GFW) is an interactive online forest monitoring and alert system designed to empower people with the information they need to better manage and conserve forest landscapes. GFW invites applications for its Technology Fellowship. Through the program, GFW seeks innovators, journalists, conservationists, campaigners, law enforcement officers, scientists, and indigenous leaders who are committed to expanding their forest monitoring experience and sharing this knowledge. Selected Fellows will participate in regular online meetings, trainings and receive a stipend of US$6 thousand. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s aim is to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
