International Water Association — Leadership Program for Young Water Professionals
The Leadership Program for Young Water Professionals mobilizes high-potential young water professionals and aims to provide a strong foundation for building professional networks within the global water community. The International Water Association will cover travel expenses for the selected candidates to participate in an immersive retreat and to attend the 2026 IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition, in Glasgow, Scotland. Global Landscapes Forum — African Youth Storytelling Contest
The Global Landscapes Forum hosts a storytelling contest for young Africans. The story should revolve around the key themes of a thriving Africa, including but not limited to food sovereignty, biodiverse landscapes, ecosystem restoration, and climate justice, among others. The three best stories will receive prizes of €500, €300 and €200 respectively. The contest is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 35 born and/or currently living in Africa. Fondation Franklinia — Conservation of Globally Threatened Trees
The Foundation Franklinia accepts project proposals focused on in-situ conservation of threatened trees in Eastern Africa. Eligibility extends to any organization with well-established expertise and efficiency in plant conservation. Projects must aim at improving the conservation status of globally threatened tree species listed on the IUCN Red List of threatened species. Funding from the Foundation favors conservation projects with reasonable budgets in relation to proposed activities. A minimum of 20-50% of co-funding will be required.
