Schneider Electric seeks applications for the Go Green global student competition in the Middle East & Africa. Students are invited to submit solutions to real-life case challenges within energy management or ideas for sustainable energy access. Top teams will be invited to attend the Virtual Global Finals to pitch their ideas. In addition, one all-female team from the semi-finals will win the Women in Business Award. United Nations World Food Programme — Food Systems Challenge: Rwanda

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) seeks solutions in Rwanda that address food insecurity through strengthening food systems. The IGNITE Food Systems Challenge supports the scaling of innovative start-ups, small businesses, and cooperatives with commercially viable solutions to address gaps in the food system. Mastercard Foundation — Scholarships for Africans at University of Cape Town

The Mastercard Foundation funds economically disadvantaged students from Sub-Saharan Africa for study at University of Cape Town (UCT). The fields of study at UCT include different areas of sciences; and many others. The scholarship includes comprehensive financial assistance with visa applications, travel, tuition, living expenses, medical aid and accommodation. EnDev — Stove Production Enterprises

The EnDev Program facilitates access to modern energy services for households, social institutions, and small and medium enterprises through market development for improved cook stoves. EnDev Uganda offers business development services support through targeted mentoring, training, and coaching. German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy — Women in Renewable Energy

The mentoring program “Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition” aims to address the gender gap in the renewables sector. The program offers mentoring, online courses, networking and peer-to-peer exchange. The program accepts applications from women working in the renewable energy or energy efficiency field. Participants must be nationals from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, Algeria, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Ethiopia, Namibia, and South Africa. YALI Regional Leadership Center — West Africa Emerging Leaders Program

The YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program provides business and entrepreneurship training to young West African leaders from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Burkina Faso. The program will teach young leaders (between 18 to 35 years) about modern leadership through coursework (in-person or online), a mentorship program, internship or community service, and report writing. SHE Foundation — Global Seed Grant

Korea SHE Foundation promotes and creates safe and sustainable households, workplaces and local communities. The grant will fund community projects that are related to safety, health, and environment, e.g., campaigns, workshops, training programs, content production, etc. Projects can focus on finding solutions to and promote clean air and water, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, climate action, conservation, environmental education and environmental justice. Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture — Graduate Research Grants

The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA) invite applications from RUFORUM Member Universities. Graduate Research Grants aim at building the capability of graduate students and post-graduate scientists in Africa to conduct applied research on agricultural greenhouse gasses.
