With funding from the government of Japan, UNESCO announces the current cycle of the Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships. The program is open to post-graduate researchers no older than age 40 who wish to pursue research work abroad (preferably in their own region) in any of four specific fields. ETH Zurich makes competitive grants in two programs sponsored by its World Food System Center. They are: (i) Sustainability in Food Value Chains (Cooperative Research Program); and (ii) Organic Production Systems for Food Security (Mercator Research Program). Royal Geographic Society — Land Rover Bursary
The Land Rover Bursary supports researcher and explorer teams by providing funding of up to £30 thousand and the loan of a vehicle. The bursary is intended to be used for a journey with a geographical purpose where the capabilities of a Land Rover are indispensable. The application deadline is 30 November 2019.
