The U.S. Government seeks to fund projects that build criminal judicial capacity in Southeast Asia. Funds will support work that increases the ability of Southeast Asia to counter wildlife trafficking. The solicitation scope may also include money-laundering, corruption, illegal logging, and other crime areas that aid wildlife trafficking. The U.S. Government anticipates 3-5 awards of US$750 thousand to US$2 million. Eligibility for funding extends to nonprofit NGOs and institutions of higher education in the USA and internationally. University of St. Gallen — Research Partnership Grants 2023
Research Partnership Grants aim to strengthen or initiate scientific exchange between researchers from Swiss and Latin American institutions in all disciplines. These grants are particularly useful to develop joint project proposals to be submitted to large funding agencies in Latin America, Switzerland, and Europe or to combine already existing and independently funded projects. The Leading House invites scholars from Switzerland to propose mono- or interdisciplinary research projects in any Latin American country, involving bilateral or multilateral partnerships. The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) seeks to boost content production and distribution of information to build awareness about renewable energy in India. EJN will support the production of in-depth content on the subject with approximately Rs 90,000 per selected applicant. Content can be produced in English or local languages, or both. Applications are open to India-based content producers (online, print, television, radio) and other experts with a demonstrated interest in covering the renewable energy sector. Village Capital supports 10-12 impact-driven startups building locally viable ecosystem restoration solutions in Africa. The United States Agency for International Development in Vietnam (USAID) seeks applications from qualified entities to implement the USAID Climate Resilient Agriculture in the Mekong Delta. The purpose of the program is to advance low-emissions, climate-resilient agricultural livelihoods combined with biodiversity conservation to support carbon sequestration, healthy ecosystems, and resilience of vulnerable communities.
