Ornithological Society of the Middle East — Bird Conservation 2023

The OSME’s Conservation Fund makes grants to support bird research in the Middle East, Caucasus, and Central Asia. The Fund supports projects benefiting species and habitats, especially Globally Threatened and Near Threatened birds, and sites important for bird conservation (Important Bird Areas) in the OSME region. U.S. National Science Foundation — International Research Experiences for U.S. University Students 2023

Through the program IRES, the National Science Foundation supports U.S. university students (graduate and undergraduate) to engage in international research. Past fellowships include several in developing countries in subject areas such as ecology, renewable energy, climate change, and others. Waterloo Foundation — Environment Fund: Marine Resources

The Waterloo Foundation manages an Environment Fund that supports projects to manage and conserve marine resources. Applications are invited from UK charities in partnerships with local organizations in the developing world, and from non-UK organizations that can provide suitable references in the UK. The majority of grants range from £50 thousand to £100 thousand for projects of up to three years. Application deadlines are 01 March and 01 September each year. About the Marine Fund

International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology — Research Fellowships 2023

The Arturo Falaschi Fellowships Program offers long and short-term fellowships to assist in the training of scientists from ICGEB’s member states, including many developing countries. The fellowships are for research at collaborating universities in the UK, Italy, India, and South Africa. For short-term PhD fellowships, the application deadline is 31 March and 31 September 2023. Loyola Foundation — Catholic Mission Activities

The Loyola Foundation supports family-based charitable organizations in less developed countries worldwide. Past grants have helped finance the installation of solar power plants, water wells, or the construction of churches, schools, and health clinics. Generally, the Foundation accepts requests up to US$20 thousand. Projects must be part of an overseas catholic mission activity. Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust — Grants Program

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust makes grants to small UK registered charities in support of animal protection, animal welfare and the conservation of wildlife.
