Government of India — India-Egypt Bilateral Cooperation
The Government of India invites research projects to apply to the Call for Joint Proposals, with the aim of encouraging scientific and technological co-operation between Egypt and India. Priority research areas include biotechnology, energy applications, among others. Financial support for international air fares, accommodation and Rs2,500 per diem for expenses, and also minor support for research related expenses like contingency and consumables can be provided. The CEPF invites applications for biodiversity conservation among two or more biodiversity hotspots. Proposed projects must address multiple hotspots, including at least one of the following: Cerrado, Eastern Afromontane and Indo-Burma. Grants under this call will range from US$ 20 thousand to US$100 thousand. The ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Youth (SOMY) announces the 5th ASEAN Youth Video Contest (AYVC) focused on the theme “Renewable Energy: Powering ASEAN’s Bright Future”. Young ASEAN filmmakers are invited to submit a 60-second video on the theme “Renewable Energy” showcasing what renewable energy sources mean to the future of youth and the region. The competition is open to amateur filmmakers (18 to 30 years old) from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. 10 selected finalists will participate in a video production workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam (April 2019).
