Tata Trusts — Travel Grants for Indians

The Tata Trusts supports philanthropic initiatives in the fields of water, energy, rural development, and others. The Tata Trusts Travel Grant scheme provides partial travel assistance to professionals and other employed people to enhance their professional or work-related skills through relevant training programmes and workshops. The application should be received at least two months prior to the date of travel. This scheme is open to resident Indian only. The last date for application submission is 30 March 2019. Earth Journalism Network — Bay of Bengal Story Grants

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers Story Grants to support the production of in-depth stories on climate and environmental change in the Bay of Bengal region. Particular attention should be given to the adaptation needs, challenges, efforts and success stories of vulnerable and marginalized communities, women and youth. Mission Innovation — Carbon Capture Innovation Challenge

Mission Innovation (MI) seeks to identify technologies in the field of CO2 capture, separation, storage and CO2 value addition. The funding of US$ 200 thousand to US$1 million under this call will be available to support activities towards design, research & development of technologies that can address widely affordable ways for carbon capture. The project has to be led by a scientist from India with the participation of at least one MI member country (including China, Indonesia, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia, among others). India Department of Science and Technology — Joint Call on Urban Water Systems

The India Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) seeks projects that design one joint Indian-Dutch research programme to develop integrated and sustainable urban water management systems and implement effective solutions. The call seeks participants for a multiday interactive brainstorm workshop in India (27-30 November 2018), in which a selected group of Indian and Dutch researchers will be mobilised to jointly design the research programme.
