The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships for qualified applicants from developing countries who enroll at German universities for Masters Degrees. The scholarship program “Leadership for Africa” (LfA) aims to support young refugees and national scholars from Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger and Senegal at higher education institutions in Germany. The scholarship includes a language course (2-6 months) before the start of the university studies, tuition-fees and a monthly scholarship payment for living expenses. The US-Andean Innovation Fund Competition is designed to create and foster partnerships between higher education (HEIs) in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia and the United States that provide new student exchange and training programs in the academic themes of Environment & Climate Solutions, Food & Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and others.
