Climate Tracker — Media Research on Coverage of Plastics in Southeast Asia

Climate Tracker seeks emerging journalists and researchers from across Southeast Asia for an online research training fellowship. Research will focus on developing a clearer regional media coverage map and creating brand awareness for the Break Free from Plastic campaign. Fellows will build their relationship with the media in the region, participate in 4 weeks of online training and analyze the coverage of up to 5 publications in their respective country. Mindselo is a personal growth platform that seeks to transform ideas into wisdom. The Mindselo Global Impact Fellowship (MGIF) Program for young world-changers and academics aims to build a large network of passionate and conscious individuals who spark positive change around the world. University of East Anglia — Online Course: Environmental Justice

The University of East Anglia (UEA) offers a 5 week free online course on environmental justice and environmental problems featuring topics like deforestation, biodiversity loss, climate change and other environmental issues. French-African Foundation — Young Leaders 2021

The French-African Foundation invites applications for Young Leaders 2021. The program recognizes and supports young leaders to become true agents of change in relation to global challenges. Candidates must be between 28 and 40 years old and have French nationality or the nationality of an African country. Successful candidates will spend five days in France, five days in Senegal, engage in high-level meetings and receive training and mentorship. Flights and accommodation will be provided. University of Nottingham — Postgraduate Excellence Award

The University of Nottingham offers scholarships covering £2 thousand towards full-time masters tuition fees for international students from the Commonwealth and other selected countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Eligible countries include: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Eisenhower Fellowships — Africa Program to Fight Climate Change

Eisenhower Fellowships (EF) seeks applicants for its Fall 2021 Africa Program. The program recruits dynamic change agents primarily from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe and brings them to the United States for a professional transformational experience. Ideal candidates are between the ages 32-45 and work in fields actively confronting the consequences of climate change, including agriculture, environmental protection, water quality, food security and energy, among others. ygap — Poverty Solutions for Bangladesh

The ygap accelerator provides support to entrepreneurs from Bangladesh. Entrepreneurs and startups with project ideas and poverty solutions for their local community are invited to apply for the one week training program. The five-day workshop (April 2021) will provide social entrepreneurs with access to training designed to focus on business growth. Participants will gain access to professionals (designers, lawyers, coaches, etc.) and have the opportunity to apply for small grants. Interested entrepreneurs have to apply by 31 March 2021. IHE Delft Institute for Water Education — Short Courses

IHE Delft offers a variety of short and specialized courses which are aimed at mid-career professionals and senior experts. Courses focus on water and environmental law, water conflict analysis, water resources planning, and many other water related fields. Fieldwork, excursions and field visits often are a part of a short course. A small number of scholarships (Orange Knowledge Scholarships, WWF Professional Development Grants, and MENA Scholarship Program), each with a different deadline, are available to deserving candidates. Techstars — Global Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs

Techstars provides funding and mentorship programs for entrepreneurs. Techstars Impact Accelerator is for for-profit founders building tech to solve social & environmental problems. Programs include Techstars Farm to Fork Accelerator focusing on the tech/digital side of food and agriculture, and Techstars Sustainability Accelerator for entrepreneurs with commercially viable technologies that can rapidly scale to help sustainably provide food and water and address global issues like climate change, among many others. Pan African Women Empowerment Network — Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program

The Pan African Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN) invites applications for the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program. The program consists of training and networking opportunities for African women entrepreneurs with the aim to give practical knowledge and guidance on how to move from idea to long-term sustainable business startup. 50 participants will have an opportunity to pitch for start-off grants and other funding.
