Pride Lion Conservation Alliance and Colorado State University offer a special training as part of Pathways Africa 2020: Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conference and Training (February 2020). The 3-day training workshop is aimed at women conservationists to help strengthen their leadership skills to achieve greater conservation outcomes across Africa. BBSRC accepts applications for strategic training awards of up to 12 months in duration to support research capability addressing current global challenges. The purpose of this call is to build a portfolio of sustainable training resources in research priority areas, focusing on sustainable development in developing countries. The National Geographic Society supports projects that empower community-based organizations and Indigenous Peoples groups engaged in forest conservation and sustainable forest management. This call supports the development and implementation of conservation programs, capacity building activities, and networking initiatives focused on achieving conservation objectives. The MAN Impact Accelerator seeks social entrepreneurs from Europe, South Africa, and Brazil to tackle social and environmental challenges through innovative solutions in the transport and logistics industry. United Nations Development Programme — African Young Women Leaders Fellowship Programme
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC), invites applications for the African Young Women Leaders Fellowship Programme. The program aims to train and develop the new generation of young African women leaders and experts in designing and implementing development programs in the context of the SDGs and Agenda 2063. A total of 20 women will be selected for a 12-month assignment with UNDP at Headquarters in New York or in a regional or country office.
