Courses include the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Gender Equality’ which is directed to government representatives and public servants, officials from the UN System, international organizations, academics, and the general public. Global Good Fund — Fellowship Program 2026
The Global Good Fund Fellowship is a 12-month leadership development program for young social entrepreneurs who remain in their workplaces. Each fellow is offered mentoring; resources for leadership assessment; a peer network; and financial support. Past fellows represent enterprises for agriculture; environment; solar energy; and other green development. The program is open to applications worldwide. Candidates should be under age 40. The Green Institute offers the Green Fellows program for students passionate about sustainability, food security, climate action, and environmental law. 100+ Accelerator seeks companies that create products and goods that optimize water use, decarbonize value chains, help farmers produce sustainable and regenerative crops, and/or protect, renew, and grow the biodiversity of all ecosystems to sustain life on Earth. The Accelerator delivers 6 months of remote training to accelerate the collaboration and growth of cohort companies. The AWARD Climate Action Fellowship aims to develop the leadership and technical capacities of African women in climate change adaptation. The one-year program offers leadership development, gender integration training, mentorship, and the opportunity to implement Climate Research and Innovation Projects. Eligible applicants are women from Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, or Senegal, holding at least a master’s degree in relevant fields, with a minimum of two years’ experience in climate-related work, and residing in Africa throughout the fellowship period. The Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean (POGO) offers several shipboard fellowship opportunities. This fellowship program aims to promote training and capacity building leading towards a global observation scheme for the oceans. Eligibility extends to early career scientists, technicians, PhD and MSc students, and Post-doctoral Fellows involved in oceanographic work at centers in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. The COFO Working Group Drylands Global School 2025 is a capacity-building program aimed at professionals engaged in dryland management. The 2025 edition will take place in July 2025 in Mongolia, focusing on enhancing governance of dryland forests, rangelands, and agrosilvopastoral systems. While the school itself is free of charge, the participants or their organizations need to cover their travel and accommodation costs. The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) recognizes young researchers worldwide working at the intersection of digitalization and sustainability. Awardees receive a fully funded three-month research stay in Germany in 2026, participate in a one-week SpringSchool, and join a global alumni network. Eligible applicants are Master’s students in their final year or current PhD candidates (or recent graduates within three months), under 30 years old, with strong academic records.
