Therefore, the EC invites proposals that promote the adoption of environmentally and socially sustainable development policies. German Government — International Climate Initiative South Africa
Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports projects with focus on transition to a decarbonised economy; as well as other initiatives with land use and climate change mitigation relevance in South Africa. The projects should have a funding volume between €12 million and €15 million each. Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Biodiversity Conservation in the Mountains of Central Asia (Tajikistan)
The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites applications for small grants to promote conservation of biodiversity in the Mountains of Central Asia. This call is open to NGOs, community groups, universities, civil society organizations in the Tajikistan. U.S. Department of State — Networks to Combat Conservation Crimes
The US Department of State announces a notice of funding opportunity for for mapping illicit supply networks to combat conservation crimes at their convergence in eligible developing countries. The goal is to identify, analyze, and map the illicit networks associated with conservation crimes in Peru, Colombia, Gabon, Ghana, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Proposed projects are expected to deliver recommendations for policy and materials to aid technical capacity development efforts. The total available funding under this call is US$493,750. U.S. Agency for International Development — Development Activities across the Indo-Pacific region
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified U.S. and Non-U.S. organizations to fund a program entitled “India Development Partnership Activity”. USAID aims to implement a joint partnership between the US Government and the Government of India with the goal to implement and finance development activities across the Indo-Pacific region. To achieve this goal, USAID intends to provide up to US$18 million in total funding. USAID will award one Cooperative Agreement over a five (5) year period. The National Geographic Big Cats Initiative seeks projects benefiting big cat populations and their habitats via field-based and action-oriented programs in Africa. The Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), under the program Horizon 2020, invites applications for the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) call for proposals. The objective of this call is to contribute to develop a more resource efficient and sustainable low carbon economy, particularly in rural areas, by using renewable biological resources for the production of bio-based products and biofuels. The call is open worldwide, however, only participants from EU, associated and developing countries are automatically eligible for funding. The call is open to academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and private enterprises.
