The East Coast Zoological Foundation (ECZF) invites applications for its 2025 Growth, Engagement, and Resources (GEAR) Grant. This small grant program aims to support operational costs essential for in-situ fieldwork and foster the growth and development of conservation-based organizations. Earth Journalism Network — Biodiversity Story Grants 2025
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) makes reporting grants to support the production of in-depth stories that highlight previously untold threats to global biodiversity or explore new conservation-based solutions. Applications are open to journalists working in any medium (online, print, television, radio) and other expert media practitioners with experience in investigative reporting and covering environmental issues. The Network only accepts applications for stories focused on countries classified as low- or middle-income by the World Bank. ENJ expects to award story grants of up to €1.000 to €2.000 each. The Yves Rocher Foundation’s Photography Award is awarded to a professional photographer who wishes to make a journalistic study of issues relating to the environment, humanity’s relationship with the planet, or the core challenges to sustainability. The European Environment Agency (EEA) invites nature and photography enthusiasts to showcase their photographic talent in the 2025 edition of our annual photo competition. This year’s competition “Environment&Me” provides a unique opportunity to showcase your take on our planet’s journey toward a sustainable future. 3 winners receive €1000 for “best photo” in each category. The International Elephant Foundation makes grants for the conservation and research of elephants. The Pollination Project offers seed funding of up to US$1 thousand to compassion-driven individuals, informally organized groups and organizations, and formally registered or incorporated non-profit organizations based anywhere in the world. Pacific Community — Scientific Cruise
The Pacific Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) program supports early-career ocean professionals from Pacific Island countries and territories by providing international research and networking experiences in ocean science and policy. Selected professionals will participate in two key initiatives: attendance at the One Ocean Science Congress and UN Ocean Conference in June 2025, and a scientific cruise aboard the research vessel Kaiyo-maru studying tuna ecology. All travel, accommodation, and participation costs will be covered.
