The British Council and the Newton Fund support the University of Birmingham and the University of Jordan to hold a workshop on the transition to low/ zero carbon transport in Amman. This workshop aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between early-career researchers addressing the global challenge of clean transport in the context of Jordan. EuroMarine announces funding to support workshops, working groups, and training and capacity building in themes of marine conservation and management. Workshop activities receive up to €7,500; working groups addressing strategic services or issues receive up to €5,000. Proposals should engage at least three EuroMarine full member organizations in two or more countries. The International Marine Conservation Congress and Society for Conservation Biology Marine Section offer Diversity Travel Grants for delegates from developing countries (as defined by the World Bank).
