The Exploration Fund Grant supports graduate/post-graduate students and early-career field scientists across a variety of disciplines. Awards typically range from $2,500 to $5,000. TREE Fund — Tree and Soil Research Fund

The Building Bridges Initiative helps arborists and urban foresters communicate the value of trees and urban forests through engagement via collaborative research and other projects with public works officials, risk assessment professionals, civil engineers, wildlife researchers, soil scientists, and others. Elsevier Foundation — Chemistry for Climate Action Challenge

The Elsevier Foundation Green and Sustainable Chemistry Challenge is open to individuals and organizations whose projects use green and sustainable chemistry solutions to tackle climate change challenges. The Challenge aims to recognize the pivotal role women play in combating climate change, therefore, projects must take into consideration gender components. The winning projects will receive a prize of €25 thousand each. The Challenge is open to individuals and non-profit organizations. The deadline for submissions is 15 September 2024. Ramsar Convention – Wetland Conservation Awards 2024

The Secretariat of the Ramsar Convention calls for nominations for the 9th edition of the Ramsar Wetland Conservation Awards. The awards recognize and honor the contributions of individuals, organizations, and governments around the world in promoting the conservation and wise use of wetlands. Award recipients will each receive the Evian Special Prize of US$10 thousand provided by Danone. Individuals and organizations of any nation or region can be nominated.
