Proposals can be for an implementation-oriented research project that has a high potential to foster change in practice. Projects dealing with all types of forests: boreal, temperate, tropical, and subtropical forests are welcome. Projects may last from 1 to 4 years. The International Biodiversity Program by halting and reversing biodiversity loss in collaboration with women and Indigenous Peoples. Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean — Shipboard Fellowship 2025
The Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean (POGO) offers several shipboard fellowship opportunities. This fellowship program aims to promote training and capacity building leading towards a global observation scheme for the oceans. Eligibility extends to early career scientists, technicians, PhD and MSc students, and Post-doctoral Fellows involved in oceanographic work at centers in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. The COFO Working Group Drylands Global School 2025 is a capacity-building program aimed at professionals engaged in dryland management.
