The Climate Gender Equity Fund (CGEF) aims to increase access to finance for community-based organizations that advances gender equitable climate action. The Fund seeks climate- and gender-smart fund managers and entrepreneur networks aiming to unlock capital for long-term and systemic change. Organizations may propose to use grant funding for a variety of purposes including building their own capacity to provide gender-smart and gender transformative climate finance. International Development Research Centre — Innovative Veterinary Solutions for Antimicrobial Resistance
Innovative Veterinary Solutions for Antimicrobial Resistance supports research that will identify and develop prophylactic and therapeutic innovative veterinary solutions while reducing the use of antimicrobials in ruminants and aquaculture operations in low- and middle-income countries. These solutions should target the prevention and control of bacterial infectious diseases. A series of grants of up to CA$1.6 million will be issued. Pôle International Francophone des Gestionnaires de Sites Patrimoniaux — International Training in Sustainable Heritage Site Management
The French-speaking International Pole of the Great Sites Network of France (RGSF) invites applications for the 9th edition of the Intensive International Training “Building the Future of Heritage Sites together: Developing and Implementing Sustainable Management”. The training is intended for francophone managers working on natural or cultural heritage sites who wish to improve their professional practice. The workshop will be held in Bibracte-Morvan des Sommets (France) in June/July 2024. The program does not offer direct financial support but candidates from emerging countries will receive support in their search for a scholarship(s), provided that a local or national administration of the applicant’s home state agrees to finance at least part of the expenses. EUTOPIA European University — Science and Innovation Fellowships Program
The EUTOPIA Science and Innovation Fellowship Program (EUTOPIA-SIF) aims to enhance the research potential and career perspectives of young researchers from around the world. EUTOPIA-SIF will select 16 post-doctoral fellows on the basis of an individual research project for a 24-month post-doctoral contract at one of the EUTOPIA universities. Candidates are invited to submit research projects in one of the five key research areas, including sustainability (energy, circular economy, mobility, urban planning, material heritage, water management). Standards and Trade Development Facility — International Sanitary and Phytosanitary Requirements
The Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF) aims to increase the capacity of farmers, processors and traders in developing countries to implement international SPS standards to gain and maintain market access. The STDF seeks applications to improve its food safety, animal and plant health capacity. Grants are expected to help address particular challenges or issues that affect trade to international markets. Projects should have a maximum duration of three years, or less. The STDF offers grants of up to US$1 million for projects that promote compliance with international SPS requirements. Azimuth World Foundation — Funding for Indigenous Peoples Grassroots Projects
The Azimuth World Foundation funds projects by grassroots Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities-led organizations aiming to improve access to health and to save water. The maximum grant amount is US$25 thousand. To be eligible for funding, organizations must have a USA tax-exempt status (501 (c)(3)) or a Fiscal Sponsor. Green Alley — Green Alley Award 2023
The Green Alley Award is an annual European prize for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the green economy. The award program focuses on business ideas that help build a circular economy and improve the waste and recycling industry. The contest finalists will be invited to Berlin to compete for a cash prize of €25 thousand, working space in Berlin for six months, and opportunities to raise additional funding. One Day’s Wages is a grassroots movement to alleviate extreme global poverty. Matching grants require partners to raise a portion of the grant funds, which are then matched by One Day’s Wages dollar for dollar. Matching grant requests from first-time partners is US$5,000 – US$30 thousand.
