Legacy Project — Global Youth Awards 2024

The Global Youth Awards supports youth aged 11-25 who are leading inspirational projects for social and environmental impact around the world. This includes environmental projects and innovations to restore and regenerate the global ecosystem. The winners receive an invitation to become a Global Change Ambassador for collaborations, events, mentoring, and training. Youth from all around the world can be nominated. Link

NewGen — Renewable Energy Accelerator

The NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator (NewGen) supports the development and implementation of youth-led solutions in the climate and sustainable energy sectors. The program consists of a series of training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities. Youth-led start-ups, scale-ups, and growth businesses from all around the world can apply. The World Around — Young Climate Prize

The World Around calls for applications to the Young Climate Prize. World Around seeks young people who are working on their self-started projects that address, draw attention to, or mitigate climate change in their communities. The program will provide visibility, support, and mentorship for 25 of the world’s most talented and passionate climate designers. Anyone aged 13-25 from anywhere can submit their work. International Trade Centre — Youth Ecopreneurs

The Ye! Youth Ecopreneur Program welcomes young entrepreneurs to submit their green business initiatives. The program includes a global boot camp, and accelerator phase, and concludes with the celebrated Youth Ecopreneur Awards. The winner of the Youth Ecopreneur Award receives US$10 thousand in prize money. Applicants must be under the age of 35 and lead businesses that promote land restoration, sustainability, circularity, and/or the green economy. The application deadline is 22 March 2024. Ye! Swedish Institute — Training Program in the Baltic Sea Region and Eastern Partnership Countries

The Swedish Institute Academy for Young Professionals (SAYP) is a training program for young professionals who want to deepen their knowledge about modern sustainable governance. The aim is to strengthen the participants’ capabilities to meet the requirements of a modern governance structure. School of International Futures — Next Generation Foresight Fellowship

The Next Generation Foresight Fellowship is an opportunity for young professionals to have more support as they begin to explore the futures and foresight field. Each fellow receives a US$1,000 prize to develop and accelerate their project. By the end of their fellowship, all fellows have the chance to run for the Fellowship Main Prize, which consists of US$10 thousand. The fellowship is open to anyone aged between 18 and 35. United Nations Environment Program — Young Champions of the Earth 2024

The Young Champions of the Earth honors young people from around the world with outstanding ideas to protect and restore the environment. UNEP seeks ideas and solutions that showcase nature’s potential in addressing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. The winner receives US$20 thousand in seed funding. Eligibility extends to young environmentalists with at least 6 months of experience in protecting or restoring the environment. Youth4Climate — Solutions and Climate Action

Youth4Climate aims to support the work of young people and youth-led organizations in five thematic areas: Climate and Environment Literacy, Sustainable Energy, Food and Agriculture, Nature Assets, and Sustainable Consumption & Production. Successful applicants will be awarded up to US$ 30 thousand to implement or scale their innovations. Proposals can be submitted in English, French, or Spanish. Bow Seat — Ocean Awareness Contest

The 2024 Ocean Awareness Contest – Tell Your Climate Story – encourages students to learn about both climate change and solutions to the climate crisis. Participants are invited to create a piece of art, writing, or media that highlights their efforts, organizations, and/or positive impacts of an inspirational scientist, activist, artist, educator, or other hero who is working to solve climate change issues.
