Greenpreneurs supports young people to foster a generation of climate and development leaders that work collaboratively to implement green solutions. The program features virtual webinars, mentorship and weekly tasks supplemented with online resources. The top three participating teams will win US$5 thousand per team in seed funding to get their initiative started. United Nations — Human Rights to Water and Sanitation
The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation invites submissions to the 4th Human Rights Youth Challenge. Youth aged between 16 -24 are asked to produce a video (2-5 minutes) on climate change and human rights to water and sanitation. Videos can be submitted in any language with subtitles in English, French, or Spanish. The winner will be invited to join the UN Special Rapporteur to speak at a side-event to the Human Rights Council in September 2021. The submission period ends on 31 May 2021. Link to more details

International Fund for Agricultural Development — Rural Youth Innovation Award in Latin America and the Caribbean
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) launches an award to promote youth initiatives for innovation in rural areas. The award will promote the initiatives of young people who are taking action to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in rural areas. IFAD seeks solutions that constitute examples of good practices and technologies applied and implemented to overcome the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the region. The initiative should contribute to solving problems related to rural areas, especially with small local producers. Participants must be young nationals (18-35 years) of Latin America and the Caribbean. Participants will compete for financial resources, products and services, and loans. French-African Foundation — Young Leaders 2021
The French-African Foundation invites applications for Young Leaders 2021. The program recognizes and supports young leaders to become true agents of change in relation to global challenges. Candidates must be between 28 and 40 years old and have French nationality or the nationality of an African country. Successful candidates will spend five days in France, five days in Senegal, engage in high-level meetings and receive training and mentorship. Flights and accommodation will be provided. The Connecting Dreams Foundation accepts proposals for the Global Changemaker Fellowship. The Fellowship is a 10 month program intended to develop Social Change Leaders who are focused on handling challenges in their local communities. Fellows participate in workshops, receive training and mentorship while implementing their local initiative. FAO and the Federal Government of Switzerland invite applications for the International Innovation Award for Sustainable Agriculture on the theme ‘Innovation to transform food systems’. Individuals, private companies and institutions worldwide may submit agricultural innovations (digital innovation, products, or practices) that contribute to the environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainable development. USAID/Zimbabwe seeks applications from qualified youth-focused local entities to provide program design support services and co-design the youth-led Local Works Zimbabwe Youth Program.
