Submitted projects must addresses sustainable development and/or climate change with a particular emphasis on balancing the needs of present and future generations, i.e. poverty reduction, conserve or sustainably manage natural and cultural heritage, or climate education. The Youth Peace Initiative (YPI), together with the Carnegie Foundation and the United Network Of Young Peacebuilders, invites young filmmakers between 18 and 29 years to submit videos that highlight best practices and achievements of young grassroots peace activists (Note: This may include environmental peacebuilding). The best videos compete for the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize. Unilever — Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2018
The Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards invite nominations of individuals ages 18 to 35 anywhere in the world who have initiatives, products, or services that address sustainability challenges in four categories. The categories are “farm to table” (sustainable agriculture and food and drink nutrition); opportunities for women; waste management; and water management. The awards will be made to individuals who are putting their ideas into action, i.e., who are already having an impact. Unilever will recognise up to eight winners in 2018, each of whom will be awarded a cash prize in addition to one-to-one mentoring support for a year. Western Union — Scholarship for Undergraduate Study
The Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program is a program designed to support young people and their efforts to pursue a post-secondary education in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or business/entrepreneurship.
