U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — Combating Wildlife Trafficking

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service provides financial assistance to projects that address the wildlife trafficking of animal species. Projects should lead to a reduction in the poaching and/or trafficking of species which include (but are not limited to) the following: (a) tortoises and freshwater turtles; (b) big cats; including lions, leopards (including snow and clouded leopards), jaguars, and cheetahs; (c) pangolins; and (d) African grey parrots. Applicants may request up to US$200 thousand in project funding. Eligibility extends to governments, businesses, non-profit organizations, universities and individuals.
