The U.S. Government seeks to support projects that secure economic security of women in agriculture in Tunisia. Funds are available to support projects that empower previously marginalized women working in agricultural cooperatives to use innovative technical and entrepreneurial approaches to mitigate the impacts of climate change, increase profitability, and protect against food insecurity. The estimated award is US$1.5 million per year over the course of 3 years. Eligible applicants include U.S. or foreign non-profit organizations; institutions of higher education; international organizations; and small businesses.
